On 1–3 December 2016, young people from all over Europe will meet in Gothenburg to compete for the European title in 35 vocational skills. We will give the visitors the opportunity to be inspired by the best, try different skills and discover their own talents. The event aims to improve the quality, status and attraction of vocational training. It is of course free of charge.
Through EuroSkills we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of events, skills competitions, our city and society as a whole. This means that we will minimise the negative environmental impact of the event and make a positive contribution to society, our stakeholders and the local economy. EuroSkills 2016 must have lasting positive effects – locally, regionally and nationally.
Within the limits of our control and influence we will achieve this vision through responsible leadership, innovative thinking and sustainable management and development.
