About Gothenburg

Over the last 25 years Gothenburg has been proud to host of a number of the world’s greatest events. Many magical memories have been created here, for participants, the public and for residents.
One of the city’s biggest assets for hosting events is its compact city centre and centrally located arenas. Visitors have everything they are likely to want in the way of entertainment, culture, events, hotels and shopping, all within walking distance.
EuroSkills will coincide with Gothenburg Christmas City, an annual event that combines a string of festive activities. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy Christmas concerts, Christmas markets and the beautiful festive decorations. Liseberg amusement park will also be open throughout the period for its Christmas season.
