The easiest and most traditional way to travel in Gothenburg is by tram. Get on the tram and buy your ticket by cash or card in the blue machine in the middle of the tram. Or buy a Gothenburg City Card before you go, which gives you free transports for 48 hours. City Cards can be bought at the Tourist Office.

Getting to Gothenburg
Gothenburg Landvetter Airport is connected to a range of destinations around the world. The airport is conveniently located close to the city center. The Airport bus takes about 20 minutes and stops just outside EuroSkills, Korsvägen.

By train or bus
Gothenburg is connected to most cities in Sweden and the neighboring countries Norway and Denmark, by an extensive route network of frequent bus and train services. Daily connections from other European capitals are also available and you can take your pick between a number of different operators.
The central station is located in the city center, and only 10 minutes away from EuroSkills if you travel by tram or bus. If you prefer to walk it will take you approximately 20 minutes.
There are daily ferries from Kiel in Germany and Fredrikshavn in Denmark. Upon arrival, you are just a stone’s throw from the city center. See www.vasttrafik.se on how to get to korsvägen.
